At Combat Social Club, our Judo classes are designed to guide you through a structured learning path, starting with the foundational skills and progressing to more advanced techniques.

Skills Training:

  • Introduction to Judo: New students begin with an overview of Judo principles, including its history, philosophy, and etiquette.
  • Fundamental Techniques: Initial training focuses on essential Judo techniques such as break falls (ukemi), basic throws (nage-waza), and ground control (osae-waza).
  • Advanced Throwing Techniques: As students gain proficiency, they are introduced to more complex throwing techniques and combinations (renraku-waza).
  • Groundwork and Submissions: Training includes advanced groundwork (ne-waza), encompassing pins, escapes, and submission techniques such as joint locks (kansetsu-waza) and chokes (shime-waza).
